Create a night skincare routine

Hey guys!

Self care is all about building a routine to treat yourself every single day, even if its just in a small way. That’s why developing a nighttime skin care routine is so important. Follow the below steps to create your own skin care routine and have your skin glowing in no time!

THE CORE

Step 1: Make up remover

I just use coconut oil because I like that it is natural and gets the job done. A small amount goes a long way when using this!

If you don’t want to use coconut oil, I would suggest the Burts & Bees Makeup wipes- these are great for sensitive skin and don’t leave my skin feeling dry either. https://bit.ly/2Icx7A9

Step 2: Toner

Toner is like the holy grail for skin care. It will get all the rest of your daily grime off that make-up remover won’t. My favorite toner I use is Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel helps prevent skin damage, fights acne and reduces skin irritation. https://bit.ly/2SIIGmE

Step 3: Facial Cleaner

Facial cleaners job is to officially clean your pores. The best skin cleanser on the market is Glossier’s Milk Jelly Cleanser.

It leaves your skin feeling amazing and glowy and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or irritated. https://bit.ly/2UVsw6Y

Step 4: Exfoliating Face

Exfoliation is really important to get rid of all the dead skin on your face. If your skin is looking dull lately- chances are it’s because you need to exfoliate. Don’t exfoliate everyday, dermatologist recommended exfoliating 2-3 times a week.

My favorite is Mario Badescu exfoliating scrub. https://bit.ly/2E7N5qU

Step 5: Moisturizer

This one is really important. Finding a moisturizer that meshes well with your skin is key. Switching your moisturizer from fall/winter to spring/summer is also a good idea.

In the fall/winter time because skin gets drier from the cold weather, using a richer creamier moisturizer helps like Glossier’s  Priming Moisturizer Rich. https://bit.ly/2STUOS1

In the summer/spring you want a lighter moisturizer since you don’t want to clog up your pores with sweat and oil. And I would recommend using something with a jelly like consistency such as Tatcha the water cream which is oil free! https://bit.ly/2UWrCXH
